MUNCIE, Ind. – A man now has a new lifelong friend thanks to an initiative by the Muncie Animal Shelter.
Shortly after the release of Pokemon GO last month, the Muncie Animal Shelter came up with an awesome idea. Since the game involves a lot of walking, they invited people to walk their adoptable dogs while playing the game.
Michael Keihn, of Muncie, saw the shelter’s Facebook post, and thought it was a great idea. So he went to the shelter and found a dog named Baloo. He took Baloo for one walk while playing the game, and that’s all it took. He woke up the next morning and knew he wanted to adopt Baloo.
