We will continue with daily rain chances through Saturday. Even though it sounds unsettled, most of the days will be rain-free, and rain will be very spotty, especially today. This afternoon, we're expecting 20% coverage or less, which means most will stay dry. The best chance includes Indy and areas south and west of the metro.
The heat and humidity will build a bit each day. We'll see highs in the upper 80s today with a heat index of 93.
As the humidity builds, heat indices will exceed 100 by 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Those will be the hottest and most humid days of the week.
A cold front finally pushes through on Friday which will knock some of the heat and humidity out of the air for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be much more comfortable!
For those heading out to the Colts night practice, it will be dry and not as hot at Anderson University tonight.
