Juan M.A. Lucio, 24, was pronounced dead Sunday after being taken to Ball Memorial Hospital following the shooting in the 1300 block of East Hines Street.

Officials say Lucio died from a single gunshot wound to the head. The Delaware County Coroner’s Office determined the manner of death to be a homicide.

Lucio’s 17-year-old girlfriend pulled the trigger, said police. However, detectives are still investigating if the shooting was accidental or intentional.
