There are three rules to live by for Central Indiana weather: 1. It always snows during sectionals. 2. There is always a chance for rain on race day. 3. It always heats up for the Indiana Sate Fair.
The Fair starts Friday, so get ready for a sultry week of weather. Each morning will begin with fog and we'll a daily chance for scattered t-storms in the late afternoon and evening. Humidity will be higher this week and the heat index will reach into the upper 90s. We've 15 days of 90-degree heat this summer and we'll add to that number by Friday. A cold front move across the state Friday and the humidity will dip for the weekend.
So far this summer we've had 15 days with a high of at least 90 degrees.
We'll have warm, foggy morning at the bus stop.
A few isolated t-storms are possible Tuesday afternoon.
Expect a dry night for the Colts BBQ Bash / Evening Practice.
T-storms will be more widespread Wednesday.
We'll have a chance for t-storms Thursday.
T-storms are likely Friday.
Scattered t-storms will bring heavy rain this week.
Less humid air will arrive this weekend.
