Bloomington police search for suspect after armed robbery at Dollar General store

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Investigators in are looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery at a Bloomington store last week.

According to the Bloomington Police Department, the man entered Dollar General, 3618 W. 3rd St., on the evening of July 29. The clerk said the suspect displayed a firearm before demanding money. The thief got away with cash, police said.

Police said the man may have left the area in a tan or gold Ford station wagon. Police released a surveillance video of the suspect taken during the robbery on Friday.
