CAMPBELLSBURG, Ind.– Police in southern Indiana are investigating hateful messages spray painted on a woman’s home.
Mia Frias-Russell is a single mother of Cuban and African-American descent, WDRB reports.
She says she woke up this week in her home to find racist messages on her shed and car. She said there was also sugar in her gas tank.
“I was just shaking and in so much fear of who could of done it and why,” Frias-Russell told WDRB. “I have been getting yelled N***** B**** out here mowing the grass several times.”
According to WDRB, Frias-Russell blames it all on a custody battle, and claims a private detective recently came to town and spread stories to her neighbors.
The vandalism is being investigated by Indiana State Police.
She live streamed her reaction on Facebook, which has been viewed more than two million times. The video can be seen here (Viewer discretion advised).
