Teenage girl, man injured in northeast side shooting
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — IMPD says two people were shot, including a 15-year-old female, early Friday morning on the city’s northeast side.
Police responded to the 4000 block of Meadows Drive at 12:30 a.m. on reports of multiple people shot.
When they arrived they found two people shot in the lower leg.
A teenage girl was shot once and was taken to Riley Hospital in good condition. An adult male was also shot once and he was taken to Eskanazi Hospital in good condition.
They say the suspect walked up to a small crowd and fired at least two shots.
Police say there isn’t much of a crime scene at this time. They have not found any shell casings.
Officers say they have no suspect at this time. This investigation is ongoing.
