CLEVELAND, OH -- James Gherardi spoke with Governor Mike Pence Thursday morning following his acceptance of the Republican Party nomination for the vice presidency. Pence said he was honored and humbled to have accepted the nomination.

When asked what he thought of Ted Cruz's speech Wednesday night that was void of a Trump endorsement, Pence responded by saying he was happy to see, for the most part, many big name Republican leaders lending their support to the campaign.

Pence's speech was very well received by the delegates, and at one point the crowd chanted "We like Mike!"

Following his convention speech, Pence stopped by the Indiana delegation's breakfast to thank them for their support.
