GARRETT, Ind. – An Indiana mother is outraged after she says a babysitter put her 3-year-old daughter Raelyn in the washer and dryer, WANE-TV reports.

The county prosecutor says Raelyn was in the care of a 14-year-old babysitter. Missy Camp, Raelyn’s mother, also left her 5-year-old daughter with the babysitter. Missy’s oldest daughter told her the babysitter invited three friends over.

Missy Camp believes the teens were drinking at her home and drugs were on the floor. She says her apartment was trashed, and there were broken toilets, a broken TV, food and pop cans everywhere.

The oldest daughter also told her mother that the babysitter put Raelyn in the washing machine and the dryer. Raelyn had bruises all over her body.

“It`s hard to explain… I’m upset, but at the same time I feel like I can`t really sit and cry and I need to keep both of my kids happy, not as depressed about it.”

Missy says Raelyn has not been the same since the incident. “She`s quiet. Like usually she`s very hyper, running around, going crazy and all that but lately she just kind of wants to sit on the couch,” said Missy.

Raelyn’s aunt posted pictures of her on Facebook. The post now has more than 180 thousand shares, and people are reaching out to the family from all over the world.

“She`s my niece. She`s like everything to me. She`s literally like my life. I love her so much. I just want her to have the clarity she deserves and she deserves justice,” said Raelyn’s aunt.

Garrett police tell WANE-TV that charges are pending, and they are working with the Dekalb County Department of Child Services, Dekalb County Probation Department and the Dekalb Prosecutor’s Office on the investigation.
