Columbus police searching for suspect who robbed Walgreens pharmacy

Robbery suspect

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Police are investigating after a man robbed a Walgreens pharmacy early Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the store in the 2400 block of Beam Road around 4:10 a.m. When they arrived, they learned that the suspect had fled the store with an unspecified amount of medication.

During the robbery, police say the suspect passed a note to an employee demanding the drugs. No employees were injured.

The suspect was described as a white male wearing a long sleeved Colts t-shirt, with a dark undershirt, black gloves, and a blue “NTN” cap.  Witnesses say the the man appeared to have dirt/soot on his clothing.
