INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – IndyGo is offering free rides on all bus routes from June 26 to July 4 to help riders adjust to the opening of their new transit center and route changes.

The Transit Center, which opened Sunday, is located on the corner of Washington Street and Delaware Street across from the City County Building plaza, offering a new central transfer point for most IndyGo routes driving through downtown.

Amenities at the Transit Center include 19 covered bus bays with real time bus information, public restrooms, indoor waiting area, customer service, pass sales, and free Wifi internet.

System wide routing and schedule changes will impact all 31 bus routes. IndyGo has created a June route changes webpage to help riders navigate how the Transit Center opening and route changes will impact their commute.

Transit ambassador volunteers will assist riders in understanding how changes to IndyGo routes will impact commutes. The ambassadors will primarily engage riders near major downtown stops.
