After a very active night of severe weather, today will be much quieter.  A cold front will move across the state this afternoon and winds will shift to the NW. Once that happens humidity will drop and it will feel a lot more comfortable by the mid-late afternoon.

CBS Streamlines

Despite the lower humidity levels, temperatures will still top out in the upper 80s today with a mix of sun and clouds.  There will also be an occasional wind gust up to 25 mph.

LS Todays Highs

More oppressive heat and humidity returns for the weekend. Highs will be in the low 90s with heat indices in the mid-upper 90s. We'll stay dry on Saturday, but Sunday will feature storms at times.

Storm chances will linger into Monday with below average temperatures returning for Tuesday and Wednesday.
