Suspect sought after robbery at northwest side Wendy’s

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a Wendy’s restaurant on the northwest side.

The robbery occurred just before 5 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the suspect entered the business at 5699 North Georgetown Road and went behind the counter as he pulled a black semi-automatic handgun out of his pocket.

He demanded money from the cash register and then fled with it on foot. He was wearing a red hoodie with white draw strings, a white t-shirt underneath the hoodie, gray, red and white gym shorts, white socks and black shoes.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
