Report: Pacers trade 20th pick in 2016 NBA Draft for Nets forward Thad Young

Update: Pacers chose Michigan shooting guard Caris LeVert from Michigan University with the 20th pick, and are projected to trade him to the Nets for Thad Young.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second time in as many days, the Pacers have made a major move ahead of the 2016 NBA Draft.

Indiana has traded their 20th pick in tonight’s draft and a future second-round pick in exchange for Brooklyn Nets forward Thad Young. That means the Pacers’ first pick in this year’s draft will be the 50th selection in the second round.

Young played for Georgia Tech for one year from 2006 to 2007 before he was drafted as the 12th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers. Young played for the 76ers from 2007 to 2014. He spent one year with the Timberwolves before going to the Nets.
