INDIANAPOLIS – A semi crash on Indy’s west side has slowed traffic for the early part of Friday morning rush hour.

According to Indiana State Police, a semi rolled and hit a barrier after swerving on the I-465 northbound ramp near I-74 and Crawfordsville Road.

During the crash, police say the truck bed cracked the barrier and spilled contents onto the roadway.

One lane is open and traffic is slowly getting by the crash. Crews are working to clean up the mess but say it could take several hours.

Officers say the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but is expected to be okay.
