Indianapolis man charged in fatal shooting on east side
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a May homicide on the east side.
Demarcus Poole, 23, faces charges of armed robbery, reckless homicide and carrying a handgun without a license. He’s accused of fatally shooting Oscar Gonzales, 18, on May 4.
Police believe an altercation and robbery led to the shooting in the 7100 block of East 21st Street. Poole was also wounded in the shootout.
He is currently being held at the Marion County Jail.
