OSSIAN, Ind. – An Indiana family’s silo is turning heads after an upgrade that’s impossible to miss.

The Stark family in Ossian turned their silo into a giant Minion from the “Despicable Me” and “Minions” movies, according to WANE. The family said the silo needed to be repainted, so they decided to go with the “despicable” theme.

According to Kathy Stark, who’s lived at the home for 37 years, it took about two days to complete the project and only a handful more for it to become the talk of the town. Stark said people are coming from everywhere to see the giant Minion, causing “traffic jams” in the “middle of nowhere” because people are stopping and taking pictures.

Stark, who said her husband came up with the idea, couldn’t be happier about the attention the silo is getting.

“It just tickles me pink!” she told WANE. “I just couldn’t believe the response. I knew people would love it, but I had no idea that it was going to turn out as good as it did.”

Stark said she’d like to add some finishing touches to the Minion, including a hat and eyeglasses.

It’s located in the 9000 block of North 750 East in Ossian.
