Martinsville man accused of raping minor pleas guilty to battery
UPDATE: Christopher L. Allman pleaded guilty to battery resulting in bodily injury on Sept. 10, 2016. He was sentenced to 94 days in jail and a year of probation on the same day.

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. – A Martinsville man was arrested after he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl.
Christopher L. Allman, 30, is charged with rape, two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and sexual battery.
The alleged incident occurred in December 2015. According to court documents, the rape happened inside of the victim’s home, and she was able to get away by jamming the door from the outside and locking him in the bedroom. From there, she ran to her neighbor’s house to report the rape.
Allman denied raping the girl, but court documents reveal that DNA evidence from a rape kit led to his arrest.
Allman’s case is pending in Morgan County Superior Court 1.
