Storm chances today and this weekend

Keep the umbrella handy today! Most will stay dry through the morning hours, but by 2 p.m. scattered showers and storms will begin to pop.


Few storms could be strong especially north of Indy and they will be widespread for the evening drive. Despite the rain, temperatures will still run 8-10 degrees above average today!

Storms will taper off around sunset tonight. We'll get a break from the stormy weather Thursday and Friday before more storms are possible this weekend.  T-showers will develop Saturday afternoon and evening. Some could be strong. We'll also see 30% coverage again on Sunday. Temperatures will return to more seasonal levels by the second half of the weekend and early next week.
