Carmel crash leaves 6 injured, 2 critical

CARMEL, Ind. – A two-vehicle crash in Carmel left a car inverted and two people critically injured Tuesday night.

It happened around 10:25 p.m. at 116th and Spring Mill Road, according to the Carmel Fire Department.

The fire department tweeted that a total of six people were injured.

Officials also say one of the victims was trapped and had to be extricated with the “jaws of life.” That person and three others were transported to St. Vincent Trauma Center.

One person was transported to IU North and another was released from the scene.
