Police: Missing man with Alzheimer’s disease located by family members

Update:  Police say Benjamin Hidalgo was found by family members near 10th Street and Arlington Avenue. He is back at home and unharmed.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police are asking for assistance in locating a missing man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

Benjamin Hidalgo, 79, was last seen in the area of East 36th Street and North Emerson Avenue on Friday around 4 p.m.

He’s described by police as a Hispanic male, 5’3″, 150 pounds with black hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket, blue jeans and black dress shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the IMPD communications center at (317) 327-3811.
