  • Corden teased them both about some of their high-profile relationships

The latest round of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke featured a pair of young singers who’ve known each other for a long time.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas were featured in the popular segment from Corden’s Late Late Show on CBS. The 23-year-old stars have been friends for 10 years and exchanged a fist bump after sharing the information with Corden.

“We’re actually celebrating our tenth year of friendship this year,” Jonas told Corden.

Lovato dated Jonas’ brother, Joe, while Nick dated Selena Gomez. The two have never dated each other, they told Corden while he listed a number of celebrities they’d each paired with.

The trio performed several songs during the segment, including “Jealous,” “Heart Attack,” “Chains” and “Stone Cold.”

They also took their act to the streets, performing “Confident” for a crowd that quickly gathered in size.

This was all good timing, of course. Jonas and Lovato are teaming up for the “Future Now Tour,” which kicks off next month. They’ll perform in several cities, including Indianapolis on Aug. 3.
