Oddmaker expects bounce-back season from Colts
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indianapolis Colts are in bounce-back mode after a disappointing 2015, and Bovada Sportsbook anticipates them returning to form.
In its latest Super Bowl projections, Bovada lists the Colts at 22/1 to win Super Bowl LI in Houston Feb. 5. That’s tied for the ninth-best odds along with Dallas and the Minnesota Vikings.
The current favorites are the New England Patriots at 7/1, Seattle Seahawks at 8/1, Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers at 10/1, Carolina Panthers at 11/1, Arizona Cardinals at 14/1, defending champion Denver Broncos at 16/1 and Cincinnati Bengals at 18/1.
It’s worth noting the Colts’ 22/1 odds rank fifth in the AFC. In the AFC South, Houston is 33/1, Jacksonville 66/1 and Tennessee tied with Cleveland and San Francisco for last at 100/1.
Before fans start booking reservations for Houston, let’s keep in the mind the Colts were considered among the Super Bowl favorites last offseason before their season disintegrated as quarterback Andrew Luck missed nine games with a variety of injuries.
