Two local prospects among Colts’ free-agent signings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indianapolis Colts’ roster expanded by 21 Monday with the addition of collegiate free agents.

The list includes a pair of local prospects: Purdue wide receiver Daniel Anthrop and Taylor University tight end Mike Miller. Anthrop caught 113 passes for 1,384 yards and nine touchdowns in 43 games while Miller had 80 receptions for 959 yards and seen TDs at Taylor after transferring from Santa Monica (Ca.) College.

The others: Georgia defensive end Sterling Bailey, Wisconsin-Eau Claire guard Isiah Cage, Nebraska cornerback Daniel Davie, Illinois running back Josh Ferguson, Arkansas State tight end Darion Griswold, Appalachian State offensive tackle Davante Harris, Maryland wide receiver Marcus Leak, Tennessee linebacker Curt Maggitt, California safety Stefan McClure, Cincinnati wide receiver MeKale McKay, Georgia Tech cornerback Christopher Milton, Harvard guard Adam Redmond, Grambling State wide receiver Chester Rogers, USC linebacker Anthony Sarao, USC defensive end Delvon Simmons, Iowa wide receiver Tevaun Smith, Syracuse linebacker Ron Thompson, California cornerback Darius White and Vanderbilt safety Andrew Williamson.

The Colts will hold a three-day rookie minicamp beginning Friday.
