Happy Earth Day everyone! Today is looking a little cooler with highs topping out in the mid to upper 60s.
A low pressure system spinning through the state is sparking off some showers and even a few thunderstorms this morning.
As the system moves eastward today we will continue to see showers into the evening hours with a few strong thunderstorms this afternoon.
The rain will clear out overnight with some fog forming in its wake. Then high pressure will control our weather over the weekend bringing us sunny skies and dry conditions. Temperatures will warm up back into the upper 70s by Sunday afternoon.
