Rain and cooler temperatures are moving in

Rain will move across the state this evening and heavier rain and t-storms are likely after midnight. The heaviest rain will fall early on Thursday and the rain will taper off during the day. By the time the rain ends Friday morning around a half-inch will have fallen. The rain cool us down with highs near 70 on Thursday, and in the 60s on Friday. Sunshine will return for the weekend along with temperatures warming back into the middle 70s.


We broke our streak of 80-degree days with highs mainly in the 70s today.


We extended our streak of dry, above average days.


Heavy rain is likely on Thursday. Severe storms are not expected.
