CENTER POINT, Ind. (April 17, 2016) – Eight big cats got some dental work done in Center Point during a two-day visit Saturday and Sunday.

More than 15 volunteers, including veterinary dentists, technicians and other professionals from around the United States provided dental care to the cats at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point.

A lion, a puma and several tigers received procedures similar to humans, like root canals, extractions and other surgeries.

The volunteer work is associated with the Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation.
