Great weather for the weekend and if you like warm weather, you’ll like to start of the work-week.
Temperatures topped out in the upper 70°s to lower 80°s in central Indiana Sunday. The first 80° day for Indianapolis since late October 2015.
An upper-level high will remain in place Monday allowing for sunny skies and warm temperatures. In fact, it will feel like early mid-June Monday afternoon.
Temperatures should climb a degree or two higher Monday as compared to Sunday.
PATTERN CHANGE COMING
Days with sunny skies and low humidity will come to an end by mid-week as we will see an upper-level pattern change.
The upper-level low that produced upwards of 40″ of snow in Colorado will move east and bring showers and thunderstorms to the Midwest.
Even with clouds and some rain, temperatures should remain above normal through the week. (Normal high temperature is 64° in Indianapolis.)
