NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (April 11, 2016)–The City of Noblesville is looking for community and business organization volunteers to help make the community cleaner and more inviting as part of its Adopt-A-Street program.

“Organizations and businesses that assist the city by adopting a street not only help the street department but help to show their pride in our community,” Noblesville Street Commissioner Patty Johnson said.

Groups select a city street from a list and commit to clean that roadway at least twice during the year commitment. In exchange, the street department will place a recognition sign with the organization and/or business name on the adopted street. The street department also provides volunteers with all necessary materials such as safety vests, garbage bags and gloves.

There are currently 10 groups participating in the program.  Groups interested on how to get started and in choosing a street to adopt can contact the Noblesville Street Department at (317) 776-6348 or
