Freeze Warning for Tuesday morning before a warm up arrives

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 11, 2016)-- We've had more than six inches of rain since March 1 and a cold front brought over in inch of rain on Monday.

After a wet start to the week expect a dry, cool Tuesday. The day will start cold with  a Freeze Warning in effect from 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. High pressure will be our dominant weather feature this week and will keep us dry and mild.  A warm up begins Wednesday and will last through the weekend when highs will reach the mid-70s.


Over an inch of rain soaked the state on Monday.


We have a freeze warning in effect Tuesday morning.

DMA Tonight Low Temperature

Low temperatures will fall below freezing.


We gain over an hour of daylight and the average high temperature rises ten degrees during the month of April.


We'll have more sunshine and warmer temperatures this week.
