Two injured in shooting in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 10, 2016) — Metro police investigate a double shooting on the near northwest side of Indianapolis.

The shooting happened just after midnight Sunday in the 1300 block of W. 25th Street.

When police arrived, they said they found two guys, ages 17 and 20, shot. Both were in good condition and taken to Eskenazi Hospital.  Officers on scene said the shooting involved two groups of people and a cell phone purchase.

Aggravated assault detectives are investigating the incident. They’re looking for two suspects.
