Today will be another gray day. Highs won't make it out of the 40s and we'll keep the chance for scattered showers through the afternoon and even into this evening. Although it won't be a washout, you'll want to keep the umbrella handy and dress in layers. A few snowflakes may mix in north of I-70 with no accumulation expected.
Tonight is the first of three consecutive nights where temperatures will drop below freezing. Freeze watches are already in effect for a good portion of central Indiana for Friday morning. Morning lows will be near 30 on Friday, and in the 20s on Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures will trend downward through Saturday, before our weather becomes unsettled again Sunday night into Monday. More sunshine will return by the middle of next week.
