You will need the winter gear today! After a morning with lows in the 20s and wind chills in the 10s our daytime high will be 10+ degrees below average. Despite the cool temperatures, we'll see plenty of sunshine today, and the wind will be much lighter.
Our weather becomes more active Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely, and they'll be the most widespread during the afternoon. We can expect 0.25" to 0.5" of rain on Wednesday.
We'll keep precipitation chances in the forecast on Thursday and Friday. In fact, temperatures will be near freezing again on Friday AM and a few snow showers will be possible! Skies will clear for the weekend, but we'll see hard freezes again on Saturday and Sunday mornings with lows in the 20s.
