We’re getting warmer, but thunderstorm chances also on the rise

You'll need the jacket and sunglasses today! After a chilly start we'll see highs near 60 today, with sunshine and a light breeze.  We won't be tracking any rain today. Pollen levels also stay high for the next three days.

Clouds will increase Wednesday, but temperatures will be mild with a high of 70.  By 9 p.m. Wednesday a few scattered showers will be possible. The coverage of that rain will increase and be heavy at times on Thursday.  A few strong thunderstorms will also be possible on Thursday. Some spots along I-70 and south of Indy could see ~1" of rain on Thursday along with 40+ mph wind gusts developing by the pre-dawn hours.

Colder air moves in for Friday and the weekend.  Overall Sunday will be the sunnier of the two this weekend.
