Child extricated from car involved in crash on west side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 29, 2016)– A child was extricated from a crash on the west side Tuesday night.

Indianapolis police said they were called to a crash with possible entrapment around 9 p.m. at Rockville Road and Bridgeport Road. Two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The Wayne Township Fire Department said a child had been extricated from a car and transported to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in serious but stable condition.

A woman was transported to Methodist Hospital in good condition.
