Cloudy, breezy and mild today…rain arrives tonight

Temperatures will be unseasonably mild once again today, but it will be brisk with wind gusts over 30 mph.  Skies will be mostly cloudy to overcast today but the rain will hold off until after sunset.

Rain will increase after midnight and some heavy rain and thunderstorms will be likely on Thursday.  Most areas will see at least 0.5″ of rain, but some spots could see closer to 1″ under some of the heavier thunderstorms. Colder air moves in for Friday and prior to sunrise Friday, a few flurries will be possible. This heavy rain will also knock some of the pollen out of the air, briefly on Thursday.

Temperatures will rebound for the weekend.  Sunrise services on Easter will be dry with temperatures in the 40s, but a few scattered showers will develop for Sunday afternoon with temperatures in the 60s.
