Warmer temperatures and heavy rain are on the way

Winds gusted 30 to 40 miles per hour on Tuesday. More gusty winds are likely on Wednesday with temperatures warming in to the 60s. We'll have a dry day before a cold front spreads heavy rain and t-storms across the state early Thursday morning. Behind the front cooler air will cause temperatures to fall Thursday afternoon. Friday will be a dry, cool day with highs in the 40s before temperatures moderate this weekend.

Low temperatures will only fall into the 50s overnight.
