Aftermath of crash from March 20, 2016

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (March 21, 2016) – A man died following a serious crash Sunday night in Bartholomew County.

According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the crash around 6:30 p.m. in the 12000 block of West Bellsville Pike. Investigators found a white Chevrolet SUV with scuff marks indicating it had rolled over multiple times.

The driver, identified as 45-year-old Thomas Young, Columbus, was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene.

Police said it appeared the vehicle was going east on Bellsville Pike when it ran off the road to the south side and then to the north side.
