Notre Dame beats Michigan 70-63 in first round of NCAA March Madness

(March 19, 2016) — Notre Dame beats Michigan in the first round of NCAA March Madness. Notre Dame’s V.J. Beachem was the high scorer of the game with 18 points followed by Michigan’s Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman with 15 points.

Looking ahead to Saturday, powerhouses collide as No. 5 Indiana faces No. 4 Kentucky. The game airs at 5:15 p.m. on CBS.

Other Saturday games include:

  • No. 12 Arkansas vs.  No. 4 Iowa State — Tip-off at 6:10 p.m. ET on TNT
  • No. 12 Yale vs. No. 4 Duke — Tip-off at 2:40 p.m. ET on CBS
