DENVER, Colo. (March 15, 2016) – The Purdue men’s basketball team arrived in the Mile High City Tuesday morning in preparation for its upcoming NCAA Tournament game against Little Rock.

“This is what we’ve been waiting for all season,” said sophomore guard P.J. Thompson. “We finally get a chance to go on the court and prove to everybody what we’ve been working on all year.”

“It’s a great time for college basketball,” added senior guard Rapheal Davis. “To be able to go out there and start preparing, it’s a great feeling.”

The Boilers practiced at Denver’s Pepsi Center Tuesday afternoon. They will practice once more Wednesday before facing Little Rock on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. on TBS.

“It was good to go out there and get a practice in,” said Davis. “Go out there, get the sweat going, and do things that will help us win.”

“It felt great,” chipped in Thompson. “We had a day off after the Big Ten Tournament and got a chance to get our legs back a little bit. We watched film of Arkansas Little Rock, walked through their stuff a little bit, and got the chance to get on the court and get after it a little bit today.”

No current player in the Purdue locker room has an NCAA Tournament win in his college career.

“It’s here now,” said Davis. “You win or go home.”
