Michigan knocks top-seed IU out of Big Ten Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 11, 2016) – Kameron Chatman hit a three-pointer with 0.2 seconds left in the game, capping an 11-3 Michigan run as the Wolverines upset Big Ten number one seed Indiana 72-69 at the buzzer in the conference tournament quarterfinals.

Troy Williams led the Hoosiers with 16 points. Also in double figures were Yogi Ferrell (14), Thomas Bryant (13), and OG Anunoby (13, a career high).

The loss drops Indiana to 11-19 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament, including nine losses in the quarterfinals. The Hoosiers will now wait until Selection Sunday to find out their fate in the NCAA Tournament.
