Man sentenced in northeast side murder
UPDATE (June 28, 2018)– Larry Thomas was found guilty in May on two counts of murder and one count of robbery resulting in serious bodily injury. He received a sentence of 60 years. Fifty-five years will be executed in the Indiana Department of Correction, three years on Marion County Community Corrections and two years suspended.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 11, 2016)– Police arrested an Indianapolis man Friday in connection with a fatal shooting on Feb. 29.
Larry Thomas, 20, faces a preliminary murder charge in the death of Rito Llamas-Juarez. Thomas was arrested after appearing in court for a different case.
The shooting took place in the 3900 block of Breen Drive on Feb. 29, 2016 just after 10 p.m.
Police said Thomas was linked to the murder through social media and a computer app called Offer Up, which is used to buy and sell items.
