ROSELLE, Ill. (March 8, 2016) – Officers in Illinois are urging residents to not drink and drive with a very alarming video.

The Roselle Police Department released dash cam video of a DUI stop on their Facebook page. The video shows a car traveling with a 15-foot tall tree clearly embedded in the front grill of the car. After an investigation, the officer arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Maryann Christy, 54, of Schaumburg, Illinois, told the officer she struck the tree somewhere in her hometown, and she drove with the grill all the way to Roselle (which is about five miles).

Since the video has been posted to the Roselle Police Department Facebook page, it has received over 137,000 views.
