Man holds customers at gunpoint, forces them to lie on floor during business robbery

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 8, 2016) – A man walked into an Indianapolis cell phone store last month and held customers at gunpoint during an armed robbery, police say.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan police, the robbery happened on Feb. 20, 2016, at the MetroPCS store located on 6025 E. 34th St. The suspect forced customers to lie down on the floor and empty their pockets. He took money from them and also stole from the business before leaving.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the man, who’s described as 6’2” with a thin build. He’s believed to be in his 20s, police said.
