Near south side shooting leaves victim in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 2, 2016)– One person is in critical condition after a shooting on the near south side of Indianapolis.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Sanders Street, near East Morris Street and South East Street, just before 9 p.m.

Police said two individuals fled the scene after the shooting, but no descriptions have been provided.

Police are working to determine the circumstances of the shooting.
