Rushville man pleads guilty after throwing bricks at police officers

RUSH COUNTY, Ind. (Feb. 29, 2016)– A Rushville man pleaded guilty Monday after he was arrested for throwing bricks at police during a high-speed chase.

Travis Elliott pleaded guilty to several charges, including resisting law enforcement.

Police say Elliott pulled out of a storage unit with no lights on and started speeding. He refused to pull over, which led to a chase.

He was eventually caught and arrested in Rush County.

Elliott’s sentencing hearing is set for March 29.
