Driving problems continue for Hoosiers in northern half of state
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 25, 2016) — Digging out and cleaning up, that is what some Hoosiers are doing for a Thursday following a mid-week snow storm that brought six plus inches of snow to the northern part of Indiana.
Areas like Goshen, Warsaw, and Plymouth all picked up over six plus inches of snow which in turn has caused numerous traffic problems for those needing to get out and about.
INDOT has deployed nearly 300 drivers statewide since noon Wednesday and are reporting that areas in the northern and north-west parts of Indiana will take another day to clear the roadways.
Various travel conditions are still in place for those traveling and Indiana State are reminding drivers to check in with the State Police for the latest road report by calling 1-800-261-ROAD /(7623).
