Two teens arrested in rash of Fishers vehicle break-ins

FISHERS, Ind. (Feb. 23, 2016) – Police in Fishers arrested two teenagers accused of breaking into several vehicles last week.

Around 6 a.m. Friday, a resident at the Bella Vista Apartment Complex saw two suspicious men walking around the parking lot in the area of 106th Street and Lantern Road. The caller gave police a description of the men. Officers set up a perimeter and saw one of the suspects try to leave in a car. Officers initiated a traffic stop and said the driver complied.

They stopped a second teen who was walking between vehicles. He also complied with orders to stop. Both suspects were detained and taken to the Fishers Police Department. Police linked them to several thefts from vehicles and recovered multiple stolen items.

They arrested Jackson Brooker and Christopher Thomas, both 18 and from Fishers, in the case. Charges against them include theft (six counts), unauthorized entry into a vehicle (six counts), possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Both were taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
