Warm and windy through the weekend then winter returns next week

It’s going to feel a little more like April, today and through the weekend with highs in the 50s and 60s. Along with that warmth, it will be windy, especially today. Winds at times through the afternoon will reach 50 mph. A Wind Advisory is posted for all of Central Indiana until 7pm.

Temperatures will stay 15-20 degrees above average through the weekend. Saturday will be partly to mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the mid-60s.  On Sunday we’ll see  a few showers especially along I-70 and south of Indy.

Colder air arrives next week. By the middle of the week we could see some accumulating snow, and another arctic blast on Thursday.
