Things to look for when buying last minute flowers

FISHERS, Ind. (February 13, 2016) –While many here in central Indiana have already celebrated Valentine’s Day, the BBB released some tips for the procrastinators out there so you don’t get burned buying last minute flowers.

The organization said the best tip for finding that perfect bouquet for your special someone is to talk to friends and family about florist they have used in the past. The BBB also has a list of accredited florist you can chose from on its website.  The agency recommends visiting the florist before placing an order to make sure you know what are you are getting.

Finally, once you’ve chose the perfect boquet the BBB wants you to make sure you know the florist’s delivery policy. The agency said to make sure to find out in extreme cold temperatures, which can kill flowers in a just a few minutes, if the driver will leave them at the door or schedule another time to drop them off.
